Question

Photoshop se cierra al abrir cualquier foto

Hi everyone, I need help with a persistent Photoshop crash that seems related to Camera Raw.

Issue:
Photoshop crashes every time I try to open any image (JPG, PNG, or RAW). It shows the message: “Sorry, something went wrong”.

Additionally, Photoshop crashes immediately when I try to access: Edit → Preferences → Camera Raw

Because of this, I believe the issue is specifically tied to the Camera Raw plugin.

Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Disabled GPU acceleration
  • Updated GPU drivers (clean install)
  • Uninstalled Photoshop (without keeping preferences)
  • Used Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
  • Deleted Camera Raw folders:
    • AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw
    • AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw
  • Removed Camera Raw plugin (.8bi) and reinstalled
  • Removed Photoshop Beta completely
  • Installed an older Photoshop version (same issue persists)

FYI, Lightroom Classic works perfectly with the same files, so RAW decoding itself does not appear to be the issue.

System information:

  • Photoshop version: 27.4
  • OS: Windows 11 25h2
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
  • RAM: 64 GB
  • File types tested: JPG, PNG, RAW (all crash)

Hey, @AntonioGuevara9010. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out.

I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/3Wpjx0B

Does the problem exist if you use Photoshop (beta)? You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Apps section > Beta Apps in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

The GPU info indicates that your machine has two GPUs, and one of them could be unsupported, or interfering with Photoshop & Camera Raw.

Please try disabling the Intel UHD GPU adapter and check if that helps. Follow the detailed steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#:~:text=Update%20your%20graphics%20card%20driver.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks!
    Sameer K
