Photoshop  -Invert ( CMD + i ) shortcut is not working (from last update (october2024)

when i use it, i see just grid ...

The shortcut for show/hide grid is Cmd+' (single quote). Can you check in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts for both of those commands to see if either was changed?
