Photoshop spacebar hand tool stops working

Question

While using Photoshop in Windows 11, the spacebar hand/grabby tool will stop working after a while. I can get it to start working again by minimizing photoshop, and clicking the mouse on the desktop, and then going back into Photoshop. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I USE PHOTOSHOP, and is a very frustrating bug.

This has been going on for years, with every build of Photoshop, and has never been satisfactorily addressed.

I am currently on :

Photoshop 26.5.0

Microsoft Windows 11 Pro

Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100

32.0 GB of RAM

Have you tried resetting Photoshop's preferences? It's a great way to restore Photoshop to its default state whenever unexpected errors occur. Here's how to do that: https://adobe.ly/4hR7UXA Just make sure to back them up so you don't lose your settings.

If that doesn't help, could you share your System Info? You can find it in Photoshop under Help > System Info. Just copy the info to a text file and attach it to your response. Thanks a bunch!
