Photoshop stutters since my latest mac update

Question

Today I downloaded the latest mac update on my macbook and since then photoshop on my mac has been stuttering. Opened a file and thought that was the problem but now still getting the stutter whilst only on a blank canvas. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

My gpu is fine and I have enough ram. Scratch disks have 50gb so that cant be the problem.

Any help would be much appriciated.

Sorry for the delayed response, and thanks for sharing the details. To help us better understand the issue, could you please provide a bit more information?

When exactly did the stuttering start? Was it right after the macOS update?
Could you share your System Info (Photoshop > Help > System Info)?
Does turning off the GPU (Preferences > Performance > uncheck Use Graphics Processor) improve performance?
If not, please try resetting Photoshop preferences and see if that helps. Steps here: Reset Photoshop Preferences.
