Photoshop Update stuck on macOS Deletes Custom Actions, Brushes, and Patterns

I have a MAC operating system. During the previous Photoshop update, I canceled the update after five hours of updating. As a result, the entire program was removed from my computer, which means that I lost all actions and Brush tools. Of course, I spent several hours reinstalling the brush tools and actions. The whole thing happened again during the last update. I contacted Adobe for help. An Adobe employee connected to my computer, found no errors, but unfortunately the issue happened again when he canceled the update and everything had to be reinstalled. Does anyone else have similar problems? If anyone has, how did they solve them, if that was even possible. In all likelihood, Adobe has problems, and then we customers are wasting hours trying to get the program back or upgrade it with all actions, Brush tool.

    I lost ALL custom patterns in Photoshop in this update. I cannot find any help with this issue either. May I ask how you were able to get someone to help you individually? I have been searching for two days and cannot find any direct connection to Adobe support.

    Adobe's website has a help option at the bottom right. Of course, the artificial intelligence responds first and after a few attempts and my request to connect me to human help, this is what happened. The technical support employee was very kind and connected to my computer, but unfortunately he had to do the same thing as me in the previous update. cancel the update because it had already lasted 6 hours and reloaded PS. As a result, I lost all the settings, actions, brush tool... . Apparently, Adobe has a very big problem with updates on its website and they clearly don't care about their customers, because now my PRO for editing movies has also crashed. Their prices are very high, but they don't care about their customers. We will have to find an alternative, for example ON1, they are cheaper and their support doesn't work on artificial intelligence first.

    All of my custom patterns disappeared in this most recent update and thanks to your recommendation to “delete old versions when the app updates,” I don’t have the older version. However, this should absolutely NOT be an issue. I should not have to worry about my custom patterns (that I have spent literally HOURS working on) disappearing completely like this. 
    In addition, I cannot find any way to contact you for help. Extremely poor customer service.
