Photoshop V 25 can't open DNG files

Since updating from 2023 to 2024 I get the error message...

"Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file"
When opening any of my DNG files, both new from Lightroom and old from archives. How do I fix this?

 

I use Photoshop on my Macbook Air M1 - 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD

    Hi Perrin,

     

    Did you ever receive any effective answer from Adobe? This is impossible. Its their own creation for god's sake??

    Ok this is ridiculous... Does anyone know if there is an Adobe phone number you can call about this stuff?
