Photoshop - Wacom - Latest Update Bug

So for me the program is unusable now.

Whenever I use any tool, instead of the tool doing what it should be doing it acts like the hand tool and moves around the canvas.

Things work fine when using a mouse, but without the ability to use the pressure sensitivity of my tablet I cannot accomplish my work.

This needs to be fixed now.

For now I'm going to have to use clip studio to do my work until the issue is resolved.

I have Photoshop CC 2017, and I don't see this folder about photoshop setting, how do I fix this error?

Amanda

There should be no need for any workaround now that Microsoft have issued a further update to fix the issued caused in their earlier release. See here for details:

I've now uninstalled the Windows updates on the 12th April and now Photoshop is reacting to my Wacom tablet as it should.

Thank you for the help on this thread

This has happened to me too!

I'm currently installing an older version of Adobe Photoshop to see if the problem disappears.

Hey Everyone....I have tried a number of the suggestions on this thread and the one that worked for me was going into the windows updates and uninstalling the windows updates for 4/12/18 and 4/13/18.

Keeping it short and sweet...but feel free to ask if you need more details.

Here is the YouTube video on how to uninstall a windows update: How to Uninstall Windows Updates in Windows 10 - YouTube

Guys, new problem appeared :/

Two days already. After each complete turn off the laptop and turning it on again, and starting Photoshop, the problem is back and I have to write the txt file again and then is ok.

But why after each total turn off the problem is there again???

Turning off the laptop should not alter the PSUserConfig.txt file (or any other file) . Is windows ink remaining off in tablet properties?

I did the PsUserConfig.txt and the other command and when I paint the brush have the same behavior (very slow) if the smoothing turned on. But isn`t.
I`ve turne off the Wacom driver and worked fast but without pen pressure

Windows 10 / Photoshop CC / Wacom Intuos Pro M connected via USB

For what it's worth, I tried everything I could find regarding this issue OTHER THAN Registry edits and in the end it was the REMOVAL/UNINSTALL of Windows 10 security updates that did it. Here is where I am:

I'd be happy to include other particulars but, for me this was what finally fixed it.
