i've been trying to use photoshop for the past two weeks and it just refuses to open... the splash screen shows up, does its thing, and ends itself. when i open task manager i can see that after like 2 ou 3 seconds it just closes. every other adobe software works just fine, i can use illustrator, i can use ae, whatever, i just can't open ps.

when the problem first started, out of 100 times starting, rebooting and etc it ended up open, but now even this wont help. i tried beta, 2024, 2023, etc. i even reset my notebook, ITS FRESH, and this #### just doesnt work. all drivers are open to date....

it worked just fine 3 weeks ago.

i've tried support and they're no good too, idk what to do anymore. i cant work, im stressed, theres nothing else i can do. it's actually enfuriating the fact that we pay so much and things like this just happen...

Hi @Yasmin25534665t2lq! Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the community! I totally get it. Dealing with an issue like this for this long has to be frustrating. I'll help you with this!

To get a better understanding of your issue, we need a few more details, like:

-When the app crashes, are you ever presented with a crash report dialog box? If so, have you ever sent one?

-Please share the version of Photoshop you're on, the version of your operating system, your Device System Information, and your Display/GPU info (you can find that in your system information), and the amount of storage you have left on your drives. You can share this info in a text/Word document and attach it to your response.

-A screen recording of your issue would be incredibly helpful in analyzing the situation. You can share it via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or another public file-sharing platform.

In the meantime, you can check out these steps and see if they work.

-Try booting your system in Safe Mode and see if Photoshop opens.

-Set up GPU for High Performance in Photoshop - Adobe Product Community - 13504734

-Troubleshoot crash or freeze in Photoshop

-Check if the Microsoft OpenCL/OpenGL Compatibility Pack is installed. If you're on a Windows Intel-based system.

-Try out the steps mentioned in this part of this HelpX article: Reinstall the Visual C++ redistributable files

Let us know how it goes!

Please use @ when mentioning my username so that I can be notified as soon as possible.
