 • Prompts that include instructions, constraints, or negative phrasing like “remove,” “without,” “do not change,” etc., often lead to unintended results.
 • This is not a chatbot-style interaction. The AI responds best to descriptive intent, not rules or conditions.

Instead of telling the AI what not to do, try focusing only on what you want to see. For example:
 • “enhanced fine detail and texture.”
 • “clean high-contrast black and white photograph.”
 • “restored vintage photo with crisp sharpness.”

Avoid terms like:
 • remove
 • without changing
 • do not
 • no blur

These can unintentionally push the model toward unintended results, especially with older black and white reproductions that already exhibit grain, halftones, or mirrored textures.

Also, for sharpness and clarity, start with a simple enhancement prompt. If you need a higher resolution, use Generative Upscale separately rather than combining everything into a single prompt.

From internal testing, simpler and more descriptive prompts consistently preserve more detail than constraint-heavy ones.
