Playhead skips ahead automatically timeline after cutting

TEXT / TRANSCRIPT BUG

I'm having an issue with Premiere Pro Version 24.0 on Macbook Pro with Apple M1 Max.

Scenario: After searching for a specific word in the text/transcript window, and then clicking over to the timeline making an "edit all cut", the playhead skips ahead to the next search criteria automatically, losing my place. NOT always but, the same thing has happened when using the only the cut tool.

Abobe Fix: When a user is editing within the timeline, the search criteria should be deactivated.
