Preferences/Actions/ect. Gone After Update. Also, too many Snapshots!

I've been using Creative Cloud pretty much since it's inception, and I've never had an issue with my actions, brushes, swatches, patterns, etc. disappearing after an update. However, ever since updating to the latest version (v 25.2) they're all gone. This is extremely frustrating as I have a whole bunch that I use constantly and desperately need back. Does anybody know how I can remedy this?

Also, since the same update, Photoshop is constantly adding new Snapshots to my History Panel on it's own. It's pretty much adding one every 60 seconds. I know I can delete these, but does anyone know how to stop it from happening in the first place? Thanks.
