Question

Printing Off Center

Photoshop 26.3.0

Lightroom 14.1.1

I just installed Mac OS sequoia 15.3 and my Photoshop and Lightroom prints are off center.  I had been printing on the previous OS and everything was fine. All the images were perfectly centered. Right after the installation of the new OS, the prints are now off by about half an inch to one side.

I printed the same image from Apple's PREVIEW application, and the image was perfectly centered.  So the issue is definitely with Photoshop and Lightroom with Sequoia.  I hope this will be solved a.s.a.p.

Hi @lucien58! 👋

I totally understand the frustration. Could you let me know what printer you're using and the paper size you're trying to print? Also, when you go to the Photoshop Print Menu, does the image look off-center in the preview? Is it the same in Lightroom Classic?

Thanks a lot!

Best, Alek

Hi Aleke.

thank you for your speedy attention.

I am using the Epson 11880 large format printer, and printing on US letter, 8.5 x 11 paper.

The preview images in both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop are perfectly centered. Both are the latest versions.

This off center results happened immediately after I upgraded to the latest Sequoia version.  Just an hour before that, there were no off center issues with printing.  So I have to assume it's the latest Mac Os and a glitch with Adobe products.  Also, I made a print of the exact image file from Mac's Preview app, and it came out perfectly centered.

Hi @lucien58!

Could you please check in Photoshop to ensure that the correct printer and paper size are selected?

When you have a moment, go into the macOS printer driver dialog box by clicking "Print Settings" in the Photoshop Print dialog box and manually re-select the printer and paper size.

Thanks so much!

Best, Alek
