Problem while rotate + zoom in/out in Photoshop 2020

hello.
I used a translator, so vocabulary selection can be awkward. please understand.

I have been using CS6 so far and recently upgraded to CC 2019, 2020.
But since I used CC version, zoom in/out control got strange.

The above picture is when zoomed in / out at position 2.

As I draw in Photoshop, so I often use the Rotation view tool.
zooming in and out without rotating the screen is no problem.

However, if i zoom in or out while rotating the screen using the Rotation view tool,
The position of the screen is forcibly replaced by the corner of the canvas.

the zoom-in position is always relative to the mouse.
even if you rotate the screen, this thing remains the same.

The same happens with the tablet removed.

Because of this, i can't use CC version.

Please help me. I can't find a solution no matter how I find it.

Go to preferences / Tools / check "Overscroll"
This "snapping" of the image was driving me crazy everytime I was rotating my workspace - for me it was snapping to the bottom bound of my file window, so when I was zoomed in my entire image would jump from where I was working and I would have to use the hand tool to reposition to the area I was brush stroking. Once I clicked overscrol I was able to rotate without an issue while zoomed in.

Hi. I had a similar problem. This worked for mi. Try changing in workspace Edit-Preferences - Workspace - Enable Narrow Options Bar.

Good Luck

Hi there,

We are sorry about the issue you are facing with Photoshop when you are rotating the canvas while zooming.

Would you mind confirming the operating system you are using? Also, please update Photoshop to the latest version (21.0.1) through the Creative Cloud desktop application to check if that helps.

You can also try to check the option for Legacy Compositing by going to the Preferences for Photoshop, then selecting Performance. Once you have checked the box for Legacy Compositing, please quit and relaunch Photoshop.

Regards,

Nikunj

Thank you for the quick response.
I updated Photoshop to the latest version, checked the 'Legacy Compositing' option and rebooted and tried again, but nothing has changed. 🙂
