Question

Ps 26.3 and Windows 11 Scaling issue

I cannot get Ps to override the Scaling whether I choose System or Application. This is a screenshot where I've chosen System.   When I open a menu in Ps the font is a decent size but everything else is super tiny, despite having chosen 200% UI Scaling and Large font size. Anyone have a solution?

On Windows, only Display > Scaling works for me.

i am having a similar issue.  Photoshop's interface will not scale no matter what combination of settings i edit on remote desktop, the photoshop.exe, and the photoshop preferences panel.  did you ever resolve this?  i want to fully work in a remote windows machine but this is stopping.    screenshot showing illustrator and photoshop side by side.

What do you mean by "everything else", exactly?

Normally, the Photoshop UI scaling will follow the scaling you set in Windows. The principle is that if it works in other apps, it should work in Photoshop too. So if you set Windows to 150%, Photoshop will automatically scale to 150% as well (I'm not using a 4K monitor myself, so this isn't something I normally fiddle with).

I honestly have no idea what the scaling setting in PS Preferences is for. At one time it was explained that it remained as a legacy setting for older Windows versions that didn't support automatic scaling, and that it wasn't even supposed to work at all on current systems - but that's ages ago, and it's still there. It doesn't do anything on my two machines.

I've attached a screenshot.  This is with the Ps scaling set to 200%.  My OS system text size is set to 150%.  Tiny type at the top and in the workspace.

If your Photoshop interface appears too small on Windows 11, you can adjust the size by going to Edit > Preferences > Interface and changing the "UI Font Size" and "UI Scaling" settings within the interface options; this is usually caused by a high-resolution display, so increasing these settings will make the interface elements larger.

Let us know how you go.

Hi, that’s where I started, then moved to compatible with no change. In
other words, I first changed the scaling in Ps Preferences, then override
in Windows 11. Stil have tiny font in Ps
