PS Actions, re link picture by choosing main folder

Hi everyone, here is to my first post on the forum !

 

I recently hired someone to make a jersey mockup base for me. Now that the .psd file is ready and I need some help to automate it with actions.

 

My mockup has 14 smart object images that I update for every customer order based on their custom design.

 

I want to be able to use actions to re link automatically.

 

Note that each image has its specific number at the end (from artboard render in Illustrator) so this is fixed and will not change ; ideally I just need to perform the action of selecting the folder where the actions would come take the pictures from and then it can run on its own.

 

Any help is very welcome

    Hi @Nicolas Blop,

     

    Keep the linked smart object filenames the same as the originals, then have them in one folder.

    Then link just one of them, and Ps will automatically relink the rest. PS simply needs to know the new location of the linked files.
