Question

PS crashed using "Neural filters"

This has happened twice now. Took photo out of CR, not saved,  into NF. Applied a Landscape filter and it crashed with the image mixed in with the PS opening screen. Gave an error saying a problem had stopped the programme. PS non responsive. Use TM to end.

Version 23.0.1

Windows 10 Home 19043.1348

as above

Expected result - Autumn Landsacp look. Actual - PS crashed.

Hi Jeff

I have spoken to Dell. As they are 3rd party drivers there is a delay in releasing theese via the the "Dell Update" program as they have to be fully tested by Dell.

They have given me access to the latest of both display drivers, which i have installed.

See how it goes.

Cheers,

Paul

I had engineering look at your system report - they said to update both the NVIDIA and the Intel drivers as they are both months out of date.

Driver date: 2021-04-08 000000.000000-000
Driver age: 7 months

Driver date: 2020-10-28 000000.000000-000
Driver age: 13 months

Restart the machine.

Hi Jeff

I dont have a monitor attached to the laptop.

I have checked the settings we set the other day and they are still showing Ps and sniffer, but i have found this :

Does that mean i have to set those programs up in windows ?

It takes you to this:

It's weird because it looks like Photoshop is still using the Intel card. I'm really surprised that setting the NVIDIA card as the primary card didn't work. Are all your monitors plug-in into the NVIDIA card? or is one plugged into the integrated card?

@paulw12912733 what am I looking at in your screenshot? is that Neural filters result? Where is the error dialog? Can you screenshot more of the layers and panels for context?

Hi Jeff,

This has not resolved the issue. It tells me it has been temporary suspended due to an error
