Ps>Edit>Rotate Object doesn't work, then popup pushes to upgrade

Watch the movie to see the tool begin to set up the rotation dialog, but then stops, displays a popup that one could infer means I’m out of credits. CC>view balance fails with message, “Unable to load selection - Retry.”

I can see the tool starts setting up the rotation dialog when playing the movie, but it stops and then shows a popup that seems to indicate I’m out of credits.

Also, when I try CC > View Balance, it fails with the message: “Unable to load selection – Retry.”

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it related to account credits, or could it be a loading/server problem?

I just got off the phone with Adobe support. According to my support tech, this one specific feature requires Premium credits. (Yes, now some credits are better than others)

If you’re on a k-12 edu plan, you might not have access; if you’re on a higher ed or enterprise plan, you have to get the organization to buy a separate premium credits plan. (Individuals can, I assume, also buy premium credits).

In Firefly, this is clear and obvious (if undesirable): the models requiring Premium credits have a little crown next to them. But in Photoshop, this tool has no indication of “premium-ness” and the popup (on enterprise) simply says to try again later.

Whether it’s a good business plan...future contracts with Adobe will tell. But as a UI plan, it’s poorly done.

I got that message once when I was using a feature that required generative credits.  Two things to check: as the member below said to check to see how many credits you have left, and check whichever Adobe subscription plan you have to see how many credits come with the particular plan.  Sometimes this error message will pop up if you are getting close to the last number of credits you have for the month.  That was the reason I got the pop up.  When I went back to my project to pick up where I left off, the generative tool worked fine.  My subscription was set for monthly renewal in two days, so I knew I wouldn’t need to purchase more credits.  Hope this helps.

Rotate Object feature do requires generative credits. You may be out of credits thats why its showing the paywall. You can check your generative credits usage by clicking on this button present in the top right corner

    Duh.

“You can check your generative credits usage by clicking on this button present in the top right corner”

Exactly where? Where are the two diamonds seen in your button? Here is my Ps button:

    CC>View balance:

Thanks, but same answer as I gave the Adobe employee. Four faint gray lines start to display credit information but are quickly (4-5 seconds) replaced by the ‘unable to load’ credits message. CC>Benefits:error message.
Restarting Safari; restarting CC; rebooting the laptop do not change this error condition.

So -- I do have credits. I just tried Ps>Edit>Rotate Object again. Surprazz surprazz surprazz, said Gomer. It now works. CC>view balance still shows ‘unable to load section.’

Hi @LAMY2017 i was able to see the Generative credits usage button on the top right corner in the video attached by you. Its available in the 27.6 build thats why i asked you to check it from there. I see the next reset for you is on June 17th which means the last reset happened on on May 17th & now you have the sufficient credits to use the feature.

And regarding the Creative cloud not showing the balance section i will report this to concerned team.
