PS not opening from LRC

Question

I do most of my editing in LRC and finish in PS.  Recently I have been unable to open PS from LRC when using the command "edit in" consistently.  If PS does open I am unable to save or close it.  I can open PS directly or from the Creative Cloud app and it doesn't seeem to be having difficulty with that. My version of PS is 26.8.1. on Windows 11 on  a desktop.  Any help would be appreciated.

Could you tell us the version of Lightroom Classic you're using? Do you have Photoshop Beta installed on the machine? If yes, try uninstalling it to check if it makes a difference.
