Ps slow to minimise, resize or close...

Running Ps v 26.9.0 on Mac OS 15.6 and as the title suggests, only Ps is not operating as it should (surprise surprise with Adobe these days).

The "wait state" for min, resize and closing is terrible. I'm not looking for "work-arounds" I'm looking for a fix from Adobe, as we all here pay for this headache s/w. I get enough headaches from clients and the missus...

Agreed with JamstaGrafix - Photoshop is now slow to open, slow to close, crashes when trying to save or export, hogs 100% of the CPU making my laptop hot (even when Photoshop is open but not being used at that moment), and overall is a buggy upgrade from the previous iteration.

I have turned off Modern User Interface for now and will see how we go. My details are attached.

Hey, @JamstaGrafix. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'm sorry for the frustration. I'll need some more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

In Photoshop, go to Settings >Technology Previews > Uncheck 'Enable Modern User Interface' > click on Okay to save, and restart Photoshop.
