PS telling me my compatible graphics process is incompatible

I also have two GPU units (integrated and RTX 2060). I’ve disabled the integrated one and haven’t noticed any performance issues so far. I’m not getting any error messages in Photoshop or Premiere Pro either. However, I’m not sure what the advantage is of having two GPU units if one is dominant and handles everything.

I had the same problem! I also have the RTX 2060. I used the Nvidia driver Studio installed. For resolve my problem, i uninstall my photoshop and then i installed the Nvidia game ready drive. Then i install my photoshop again, for my surprise, it works again. It might be a driver compatibility problem, or a photoshop problem. 

I hope these steps works for you too.

Having two GPUs may seem better, but it seems to be a big problem. As I understand it, an app cannot choose which GPU does the work, so it might end up using the less powerful one all the time, or randomly switch between the two. It is probably safest to disable the integrated GPU so you get the GPU that you paid for. You can - and should - also make sure to update the driver for the integrated video card, even though it isn't what the message seems to say.

Unfortunately I've done both of those things, with no change in the error message. The only thing that stops the error message is disabling my intel graphics card.

First, make sure your graphics driver is up to date for the NVIDIA card from the NVIDIA website.
