Psd file’s literally vanishing without any reason

Hello, yesterday night I begun a ps project (just a simple drawing) I decided to sleep after that and then I saved the project in .psd in random files. The fact is this morning I started photoshop, clicked on my project on the software... but nothing, I click on the project but literally NOTHING happens. Some minutes after that I try to click on an another project to test if the issue were only on that one, and every other project it gives me the message : "This project has been moved or deleted"and the project vanished od my photoshop. For the other projects that's not a problem because I have the file in psd on my desktop but for the one I begun last night I can't find it and then it disappeared of my photoshop.
Can anybody helps me with that I'm falling apart😭

Are your missing files listed in File>Open Recent? What happens if you click on one? Most recent files are listed top down.

Peru Bob and D Fosse made good points.

Well, where exactly did you save it? What drive, what folder?

Always note where you are saving your files! The home screen is just a convenience feature to let you quickly pick up where you left off before lunch. It is not intended for file management.

Have you done a Windows search for .psd?

Did you save it to an external drive that may have automatically gone to sleep?
