Hi,

Really by pure curiosity if any one know why ?

In Windows Explorer  the setting is [always ] for view is large icons for any pictures folders.

I had to put it in details view and I saw that only the .PSD file are view [indicated] as TYPE : Adobe Photoshop Image 25, not as .PSD file, like any other photoshop save file: like:

.psb save file = TYPE : PSB FILE

.tif save file = TYPE : TIFF FILE

.jpg save file = TYPE : JPG

Thanks

Thanks @Ged_Traynor  for your input.

I was curious because it's only for .PSD that show the : Adobe Photoshop Image 25  instead of the extension file like any other picture extension file.   I did look on the web and saw others community members that ask the same question. But a bit strange because all my default setting point out to photoshop to open .psd  and I do not have other photoshop version.

@Kapture benoit it's the same for other applications as well, also it's been that way for Photoshop for some time
