PSDC not compatible with photoshop version

Question

Hi, I was working on a promotional poster and I got to a good point and saved the document to the cloud in photoshop. A few minutes later I wanted to change something on the poster but when I launched PS it said the file wasnt compatible. I didnt update my photoshop and I saved it to the cloud and I still see it there. When i go to download the file from the cloud it doesn't work it just sits on "loading". I was wondering if anybody knew a solution or a way to recover the file. When i try to open the file in the web it doesnt work but it does open in fresco where you can see the poster. please help!!!

Here's one thing to try:

In Windows File Explorer, select the .psdc file
In the View menu, enable extensions to confirm it is [filename].psdc

Photoshop recognizes the file by the extension, which you can only see if you have set extensions to be visible. This may or may not be the issue, but it's worth looking at.
