When a raster image is copied from PowerPoint, its quality decreases when pasted into Photoshop but remains excellent in Illustrator.

Dont copy - right click and save as picture then open.

I tried using the “Save As” option, but it didn’t improve the quality. So, I exported the entire PPT as a PDF, and the output quality turned out to be good. However, I want to understand why, in the first case, when I copied the image from PPT, it looks good in Illustrator but not in Photoshop.

When you create your file in Photoshop - what is the resolution? Try increasing before you paste to see if it resolves.
