Question

RAW files not rendering properly in Photoshop

I open PS and amend a photo in ACR. But when I then go to open the file in PS the photo appears all bleached out. This happens also if I open a photo in ACR and don’t amend it. I’ve looked at the colour space and they are the same. This has happened recently, within the last week as prior to this everything was working perfectly

Hi, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop.

Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us either by pasting it as a reply here or by sharing a text file with us.

Meanwhile, go to Photoshop's Preferences, then Performance, and disable the Use Graphics Processor option. Also, disable the Graphics Processor in the Camera Raw Preferences. Once done, relaunch Photoshop to check if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Nikunj

@nik.m could this be the same issue we were seeing a few weeks ago?

@wolfgangm25027680 Are you using the latest version?

Are you using the Release or beta version, and if you have both installed, is it only happening with one of them?  I was having a similar issue, and we saw several posts reporting the same.  My issue went away with an update.

Thanks for the reply. I never use Beta versions. I am using the latest release. See reply to Nik.m Community Manager but updating did not affect the issue. I followed his other advice regarding Graphics Processor and that seems to have worked though we shall see if this is a long term fix or just a workaround
