RAW files not rendering properly in Photoshop

Thanks for the update. I’m glad disabling the Graphics Processor helped.

To answer your question, disabling the Graphics Processor will not harm your Mac. It is a Photoshop setting. However, some GPU-accelerated features and performance benefits may be unavailable while it is disabled, so I’d consider this a workaround rather than an ideal permanent solution.

There’s one more targeted test I’d like you to try:
1. Go to Settings > Performance and turn Use Graphics Processor back on.
2. Go to Settings > Technology Previews.
3. If Precise color management for HDR display is enabled, turn it off.
4. Restart Photoshop and check whether the washed-out/bleached appearance is still present.

Since your System Info shows a WCG display, this test will help us determine whether the HDR/color-management path is involved while allowing you to keep GPU acceleration enabled.

Also, I see that your System Info was captured on Photoshop 27.9.0. Photoshop 27.10 is now available, so please update to 27.10 and test the same workflow there as well.

Could you let us know whether the problem still occurs with GPU enabled + Precise color management for HDR display disabled, and whether the result is different in 27.10?

Hi, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop.

Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us either by pasting it as a reply here or by sharing a text file with us. 

Meanwhile, go to Photoshop's Preferences, then Performance, and disable the Use Graphics Processor option. Also, disable the Graphics Processor in the Camera Raw Preferences. Once done, relaunch Photoshop to check if it helps.
