I am left handed and key is not usable to change brush to CLEAR. It is on the far side of the keyboard for a lefty, but is not in list of edit shortcuts. How can I do that?

Thank you

I think the Tild key is one of the hard wired shortcuts, and can't be changed, but you can come at it from a different direction.

Make a tiny action that

    Selects the Brush tool

Sets its blend mode to Clear (in the Options Bar)

Use one of the Function keys to trigger it.

Make a second action that selects the brush tool and sets its blend mode to Normal.  You'll need to use a different Function key for this as the above functions don't toggle with the same shortcut.

Alternatively, if you have a Gaming keyboard or mouse with additiional functiionality and programable G-keys

Set one to:

   Shift Alt R (clear)

   Shift Alt N (normal)

It's worth remembering that custom shortcuts, (along with custom Tool Bars and Menus) can be saved with custom workspaces.  This lets you reassign shortcuts according to context.  To make this work I have short actions that set and reset my custom workspaces, that are triggered by Function keys.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
