Recent files frequently disappear

Once in a few days or so, when I open PS all the recent files are gone from the starting screen, I have to go and open them manually again which makes working with PS tedious because I work with a lot of files in many folders.

This issue has been reported over and over for months now and yet there has not been done anything abuot it. We pay real money for this and depend on it with our work and livelihood.

Fix it!

    Hey, ​@Tomas-B. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

     

    I am aware that this has been reported before. Although this thread is unrelated, could you try the steps with UXP here: 

     

    Monitor if the issue appears again and let me know how it goes.
