Remove Tool doesn't work at all?

Remove Tool gives only either grey or black spot or says "could not complete your request because of a program error". I have set “More Stable” option and used “Reset tool” and closed program and installed it again. Nothing works.

Yes, it could be due to the Username. In the thread that I’ve shared, one of the users has shared a detailed set of steps to workaround through this issue. You can follow those steps.

Hey, @OlliK & @tmyusuf. Thanks for bringing this up. There is a recent conversation that highlights failures in the Remove Tool and one of the symptoms is having a non-ascii character in your Windows User folder path. These reports are being tracked here:

Please check if this is what you also see.

This is my Users folder now. There was also a very strange user with no data, which I deleted. Could it be those Ä-letters? If so, what could be the solution? Käyttäjä is User in finnish. I used to have Widows in finnish, now it is in english.

I did start without 3rd party plugins and started also with fresh settings. Sadly no luck with these...

did check the speed, this time it was 67/27 Mbps, I think that should be enough. I have also deleted every possible file I could imagine.

Hmm. Lots of people having problems with the Remove Tool, even when “more stable” and “No AI” are selected. I’ve been having these problems (freezing mainly) for over a year now.
