What has changed with the operation of the Remove tool?

Usually the removal of a small skin blemish was almost instantaneous, now it takes 33.42 seconds to remove the same type of thing on a portrait.

now even take longer time to remove anything. Have change some settings for ‘Image processing’ and  still the same. I think Adobe server is now even worse/not able to handle AI based, especially for the free removing tool.

Hi @Didi34854750nu49

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the Remove Tool. Could you please share a few additional details to help us investigate further?

  • Your System Info (from Photoshop > Help > System Info)

  • When did this issue start? Did it begin after a recent update?

  • Does this happen with all files, or is it specific to a particular document?

In the meantime, please try the performance optimization steps outlined here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-photoshop-cc-performance.html

Let us know if these steps make any difference.

Regards,

Srishti

Why aren't you using clone stamp or healing tools for such minor edits? The remove tool is for "bigger ticket" items.

That's not a small skin blemish as the OP wrote.
