Question

Remplissage génératif qui ajoute toujours des animaux !

Bonjour,

1. don't use AI-powered tools to remove 2. don't add text to the prompt

If you're using the latest version of Ps, be assured that AI's powers are almost guaranteed to change (maybe, not necessarily improve).

Your clients do you no favors to supply you with watermarked images, and may be supplying you with images to which they have no license/legal rights.

I'm happy that this community guards intellectual property.

1. In fact, it used to work perfectly. Now, it adds animals (yesterday, it was birds 🫣)

I've contacted the support and no solution (nor explication) seems to exist. So I've been advised to use the new erase tool instead… and it works pretty well, so that closes the topic.

I'm also happy when intellectual property is protected and the reason why my clients provide me with watermarked images is simply because of the workflow : They upload their photos on a general server (that automaticallly adds these watemarks) where I collect ALL the images ; it would be simply IMPOSSIBLE for me to collect unwartermarked photos afterwards from eah client. I'M NOT A THIEF AND ALL THIS "SUSPICION" IS REALLY BORING !

I'm sorry that you were offended. Since other folks searching for help on this topic may stumble on this exchange, it is imperitive that the opportunity be taken to state the community's pledge to guard intellectual property. I expect no less on any website discussing photo editing software.

@Studio_dp watermarks are there for a reason!

🤣
Thanks for the "info"!… and for your "help" 😂

The photos on which I need to erase watermarks are given to me by their legit owners who allow me to remove them to compose their commercial ads…
If you have a real answer that could help me understand why the generative feature in Photoshop doesn't work anymore on my side, you're more than wellcome to share your knowledge 😉

I don't have an answer for your issue, but wouldn't it make more sense for them to give you the images without the watermarks, surely they would have the original unwatermarked ones
