Request: Support for Microsoft Slim Pen 2 Haptic Feedback in Photoshop

Hello, I use the Microsoft Slim Pen 2 on a Surface Laptop Studio. In Microsoft apps (Surface App, Whiteboard, Journal), the haptic feedback works perfectly. However, in Photoshop 25, the haptic vibrations are not supported.

Please consider adding support for the Windows Ink Haptics API so that haptic feedback is also available in Photoshop. This feature greatly improves comfort and precision when drawing and retouching.

I appreciate your consideration.

@wavevil I think it's kinda hard for Adobe to get everything right, Microsoft Slim Pen 2 works great for Microsoft products because those applications are specifically coded to utilize the Windows Ink Haptics API provided by Microsoft—not in Adobe products. Currently, Photoshop 25 is not coded to do this, which is why the haptics don't fire when you draw a line or use a brush.

Should or Could Adobe do this? They could and arguably should do this, as the Surface Laptop Studio and Slim Pen 2 are popular tools for creative professionals on Windows. Since Adobe has implemented haptics in other apps like Adobe Fresco on the Surface, it is certainly a possible feature for Photoshop. Only time will tell I guess!
