    Hi @lakshya27,

Thank you for reporting this. I'm sorry you're running into issues with image resizing in Photoshop on the web.

To help us investigate, please provide a few more details.

    • What dimensions are you resizing to and from? (e.g., resizing a 1000×667 image to 4000px wide)
    • What happens when it fails? Does the operation hang/freeze, produce visual artifacts (e.g., black blocks or corruption), or show an error message?
    • How large is your file? Both the pixel dimensions and the number of layers (especially if you have Generative Fill or Generative Expand layers).
    • Which browser, browser version, and OS are you using? (e.g., Chrome 126 on macOS Sequoia 15.5)
    • Is it intermittent or consistent? Does it fail every time, or only sometimes / only with certain files?

In the meantime, here are a few things to try:

    • Clear your browser cache and try again in an Incognito/Private window.
    • Try a smaller target size and let us know if it works or not.
    • Flatten or merge layers before resizing, especially if you have multiple layers in the document.
    • If the issue persists, try opening the file in Photoshop on a desktop and see if it works there.

    I appreciate your patience!

    Best,
    Anshul Saini
