Question

Resurrecting QTVR?

Hi,

I have a few QTVR files from the late 1990's I wanted to resuurect. I dont need to pan and zoom in them, just want to stitch together the existing images.

I converted them to mp4 and then dropped them into Photoshop, they are play as individual images at the moment. I was not sure what to do next and hoping for guidance here,

Thanks

I added one of the files, they are pretty neat. EMI had them on theirt site, each one shows a panorama of Abbey Road studio One from the point of view of each band member, this one is John Lennons

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out and sharing the video. I'll clarify this for you.

The video you've attached appears to have a frame rate of 1 per second, and most videos you see have a 24, 30, or 60 FPS, which stands for 24, 30, or 60 frames per second.

In Photoshop, you can decrease the interval between each frame to 0.041 and check if the video appears faster.

Thanks!

Thanks,

I actually dont want to change the frame rate, I want to stitch all the images together into a panorama. These QTVR files were popular in the late 1990's as VR was just beginging. It was a codec that Apple no longer supports.

So, if there is a way to easily take each frame and put them side by side with zero overlap and save it as an image file, that would be all I can ask for at this point.

Thanks

Henry
