Revert hand tool

Please revert the changes to the hand tool. It’s been a while since it was changed but I really miss the old one. Or make it a toggle feature. I don’t like how it scrolls with the box now and I liked how clean the original hand tool felt.

      I guess I get it now …

      Did you use to keep pressing »H« to springload the Hand-Tool previously? 

      If so then I would recommend using the spacebar instead.

       

      The »god’s-eye-view« (or whatever you would call it) one gets by keeping »H« pressed and clicking is, as you observed, mandatory at current as far as I can tell.

      So your Feature Request is valid but in my opinion the spacebar-option is the better choice anyway.

      I actually did not know space bar was an option haha. I’m so sorry! I’ll try that instead. Yes, I was using H instead since I just didn’t know there were two ways to do it. Thank you so much

        The spacebar still springloads the Hand Tool here.

        I am not sure what you are describing with regard to the Move Tool and zooming. 

        Could you please post a screen recording to clarify?

        I am not sure what you mean. 

        Are you referring to »flick panning«?

        No, I’m sorry its a little weird to explain. With the old one you didn’t need to actually switch to the hand tool to scroll across the canvas and you could just hold it down then the tool would swap back to your previous tool and you can continue whatever. Now when you hold the tool down to move the canvas it zooms it out and the box that appears determines where the zoom will take you. You have to physically switch to the hand tool to use it like how the old one worked. I’m just not a fan of it and I miss the fluidity the old hand tool had so it would be nice if there was an option to use the old version if its not possible to revert it. If it is a toggle then Im sorry I didn’t know I’ve gone through every setting I could find in case I just missed it and found nothing like the old one.
