Right-click won't work in latest update

I've been using Photoshop for a over decade, but this latest update has definitely caused some random issues that I simply cannot work with. For device information I am on a 13-inch Macbook Pro M2 (Ventura 13.5), and using a Wacom Intuos Pro M tablet (latest drivers)

I have a button on my stylus set to right-click. Since the last few PS updates whenever I create a path, I cannot right click anywhere on the canvas to select options like fill path, make selection, etc. I used to be able to as this process is almost a habit to me now. Right-clicking anywhere creates a new node which is then the start of a new second path. The only way to select the first path is to right-click on the path itself, which also creates a new anchor point, which THEN gives me the option to fill path, make selection, etc.

Another issue is I have multiple artboards in a file. Typically I can select all of the artboards, even deselecting some that aren't needed, I used to be able to right-click and select "export all". NOW when I right-click it deselects everything and only highlights/selects the artboard that my mouse is over at the time when I click. The only workaround I have found is if I control click, the menu comes up and I am able to export all the same way I used to before.

I've uninstalled PS completely this morning and after booting up I could not right-click at all with either my stylus or my mouse (only control clicking brought up anything.) I have tried rolling back versions of Photoshop, which does brings back the ability to right-click. I have tried rolling back Wacom drivers, which somehow removed the edge softness from the default soft brush. I have looked into tool presets and settings but nothing relates to the right-click problems that I am having.

I honestly can't figure this out. Thanks for your time!

I am having this issue as well with Photoshop 2024.  M1 Max here. The issue is happening only when I am trying to use PS on my Macbook screen (Display 1) and not on my big design monitor. I am trying to build a website on my main screen and use a PSD mockup as my guide on the smaller monitor. This is super frustrating. I has to have something to do with with display Photoshop is running on. I have tried assigning it to different desktops to clear the issue and it's not working.

Hi. The issue is still there in the Photoshop 2024 update. I cannot bring up the contextual menu after creating a path by right-clicking. I have to command click for a contextual menu to appear (make selection, fill path, etc) Same issue with selecting all of the layers, I cannot right-click to select "export all" as only the layer where my cursor is at the time will hightlight. I have to command click for the contextual menu to appear. Thanks

The right-click issue isn't only with the Wacom stylus though, when I added Photoshop to the Wacom Tablet applications list (in order to then remove it and hopefully fix the issue) I lost the ability to right-click entirely including the mouse. But you are right - its best to have both a Wacom and a mouse just in case of emergencies.

This is why i always have a mouse on my desktop. Wacom drivers have been notoriously buggy for decades now.

Hi Adobe,

This issue is still on-going and I would really appreciate some feedback or some information. I keep hoping for an update to correct this but I'm starting to doubt it will.

The reason I lost the ability to right-click entirely came after I added Photoshop to the applications list in the Wacom Tablet system settings, which was something I read online to do in order to correct the problem. This then lead to rolling back the drivers and Photoshop versions to try and fix that. Eventually I was able to fix the brush edge softness and get that to work again, however right-click still doesnt' work. It seems to be registering as a normal click, because now in order to bring up the context menu in the canvas or the layers panel, I have to control click (right-clicking in the layers panel brings up the context menu for literally a second before it disappears, and control-clicking on the canvas is the only way I am able to select things such as 'make selection' or 'fill path', etc)

I was advised to delete the Wacom Centre, uninstall all Adobe programs. go into the OS library and Users/[User]/Library/applications and move all Adobe folders and Users/[User]/Library/Preferences all Adobe folders to and Users/[User]/Library/Application Support to the trash and to reinstall everything as it could be coming from corrupted preferences, however I have tried clearing preferences on quit and it did not fix the issue. This seems a bit extreme and I have a number of InDesign export preferences that I don't want to lose.

Thanks again for your time.
