Save to cloud option in Photoshop greyed out and not active

I try to use “save as” on an image in Photoshop (V27.7) and the “Save to cloud” option is greyed out. I am trying out the Firefly boards and need to save as a specific format - I am unable to do this.

What format are you trying to Save As?
When I test here  ‘Save to Adobe Cloud’ is only available for PSD and PSB and is grayed out for other formats. This is in accordance with the documentation here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/desktop/save-and-export/export-files-to-different-formats/export-to-cloud.html

GIF ,PNG and JPEG can be exported to Adobe Cloud Storage via Export As

    (Photoshop 27.7 Windows 11)

Hey, @johnc68. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Do you launch Photoshop via the Creative Cloud desktop app?

Please check whether the issue occurs when launching Photoshop via the Creative Cloud desktop app. I've moved your post to discussions for now.

    Thanks!
