saving an image after using polygon tool

I have drawn a property line on my drone image using the polygon tool. It will not save as a jpeg with the lines still there. How do i save it so the lines show up?

What you are seeing are workpaths. Go to the Paths panel and you’ll see them there. Paths are identifiable by the Points — the white dots in your screen shot.

To make them part of the image you have to either make the path into a shape layer, or stroke the path on a raster layer.

I have created a path on your background, and created a new layer to stroke.

Right click the path and choose Stroke Path. Note: you need to set the brush to the required thickness before stroking a work path.

I’ve stroked the path with Magenta using a four pixel fully hard brush.

Note: when the brush is already selected you can simply use the icon I have the green arrow directed at.

If you're saving an image after using the Polygon Tool, I'd recommend keeping the original file in a layered format first so you can edit the shape later if needed. After that, export a separate PNG, JPEG, or SVG depending on where the graphic will be used.

Another thing I always check before exporting is the overall color balance. Even with clean vector shapes, inconsistent colors can make the final design feel off. I usually test different combinations with a Color Combiner before exporting, especially for icons, logos, and UI elements, to make sure the final image has a consistent and polished look.

You still have two layers. When you flatten the image you will have one background layer.

You can also try File > Save a Copy and select jpeg from there.

Yeah, I realize that and when I go to flatten, the line disappears and does not save either way with the line. So, I am just not getting it.

Try flattening the image. The jpeg format does not support layers.

I tried that and it still did not show up after saving. I have done thos a number of times before, but I am forgettinga step I guess. I cannot figure it out. I have googled and googled and no one shows the saving part
