Saving error after transforming image

Hello, I'm having an issue with Photoshop. When I transform an image and go to save, a program error pops up, which says "Could not save '(file name).psd' because of a program error." I have tried changing the file from 8 bits/channel to 16 bits/channel, saving, then switching it back. However, I'd rather have a permanent fix, not a temporary one. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, are there any fixes for it?

Thank you in advance.

I contacted Adobe, and they said that it's a problem with my GPU. It is too low to handle PS 2021, so I had PS 2020 reinstalled. The problem I was having before is gone. If anyone has encountered the bug I had, I'd reccommend getting a new GPU. If that's not possible, roll back to Photoshop 2020 (vers. 21.2.4).

P.S. here is a link for the GPU Chart.

What OS version and Photoshop version are you having this problem in.  Are you transforming layers or changing the document canvas size with Image resize.  Your post provide little information.

I am using Photoshop 22.1.0 (2021) on Windows 10. When the error occurs, it is after I transform layers.

I do not see a problem like that on my Windows 10 PC.  Make sure Windows 10 updates are installed that you have the latest device drivers installed for you machines devices, And try resetting Photoshop 2021 Tools and Preferences.

Also make sure PS shows your GPU is supported in its Preferences performance section and you you mate meet the changed System requirement's for Photoshop 2021. Review Adobe known issues in Photoshop 2021. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/known-issues.html#ps-desktop
