Select and mask issue

Hello,

I'm running into an issue with the Select and Mask tool. Once you click the button and enter the workspace, you can't see live edits, especially when using the Refine Hair button. The changes only appear after exiting the tool, which makes it difficult to work accurately.

I'm using the latest version of Photoshop. I downloaded the beta version to test, and the issue doesn't occur there. It works as expected.

For reference, my machine is running Windows 11.

Try resetting the preferences, I am testing the regular version 26.8.1 on Windows, and everything works fine.

@Sean23912193zj2p If it works in the Beta, and not the regular version, likely it may be a bug. Tools like Select and Mask, and especially features like Refine Hair, are very computationally intensive. They rely heavily on GPU acceleration and intricate algorithms. Ensure your graphics drivers and Windows 11 are fully updated, as sometimes these issues can be resolved by system-level updates.
