Select and Mask tool slow on Mac Studio M2 Ultra

The Select and Mask tool is very laggy and slow since the last versions on my Mac Studio M2 Ultra.

I am editing RAW files from Lightroom and import them in Photoshop. Also the double click option on a layermask to get into the Select and Mask tool takes ages to load. 

 

OS: Sequoia 15.5

Thanks for reaching out. Could you share a few more details about the issue you're experiencing? Specifically, which versions of Lightroom and Photoshop are you using? Also, does the lag happen when opening photos directly in Photoshop, or only when sending them over from Lightroom?

It would also be super helpful if you could share your System Info. You can find it in Photoshop by going to Help > System Info. Just copy the info into a text file and attach it to your reply, or share it through Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any other file-sharing service you prefer.
