Select Sky results slightly different in Photoshop and Camera Raw

I've noticed that the Select Sky feature in Photoshop and in Adobe Camera Raw can produce slightly different results.  From that I'm taking the leep and suspecting that there are slightly different algorithms or different implementations of the algorithm in the two products.  If you've noticed this difference and have an opinion as to which one does the better job, I'd be interesting in hearing what you think.

Some differences are not unexpected. A raw file and a rendered RGB file are two very different things, and the algorithms need to work accordingly.

 

Any automatic selection algorithm will need some manual fine-tuning for optimal results.
