selection becomes inactive when transformed

Question

In Photoshop 2026 (27.11.0), when a selection is transformed, sometimes the selection becomes inactive and the marching ants disappear after the transformation is accepted. It becomes necessary to go to Select>Reselect to recover the transformed selection

I only ever use the beta version, but I’m feeling that the document window is tending to lose focus. If I click on a swatch in the color panel, then sometimes I have to click inside the document window before anything works.
