@defaultbsifqfimvi3b Which specific tool and how is it malfunctioning? You can always reset the tool in the options bar above (top left tool preview/dropdown menu/reset tool) but if this is a new install it shouldn't be needed. 

@defaultbsifqfimvi3b downloaded Photoshop from where, can you post your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread
