Serial Number doesn`t work for Photoshop CS6

Dear Adobe Team,

I had to replace my laptop and would like to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 on the new one.
I deactivated Photoshop on the old laptop - I took screenshots. However, I am still receiving an erroneous error message stating that my serial number is already in use on the maximum of two computers.
It appears the usage counter was not reset during deactivation.
I would appreciate it if you could either reset the computer usage counter or send me a replacement serial number for registration.

Do you need the serial number from me, or a photo of the original packaging showing the product code?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards from Hamburg

Don’t post that information or any other personal information here. This is a public forum and is seen by anybody who reads this forum.

The only way to deactivate CS6 is to do it on a computer with an up-to-date operating system and up-to-date security.

If the deactivation process shows that it was deactivated but is not actually deactivated, it is because the computer was not able to connect to Adobe servers to communicate the deactivation.

Adobe employees can’t deactivate it for you.

The old laptop had performance issues and therefore had to be replaced. How can I continue using my Photoshop CS6 license on the new computer?
