Shortcut - Lock transparent pixels on/off (GER)

I recently installed the new PS version (21.2) on my Mac (mac OS Catalina 10.15.5) and had a huge problem. On the german keyboard the shortcut for "Lock transparent pixels on/off" was "ß". This is a key shortcut that can not be changed in the options. This shortcut just does not work any longer. And I use it very (!) often in my illustration workflow.

I had to revert and install the previous version of PS to keep working at the same pace.

(Sorry for the mistakes - english isn't my native language.)

I really want to install the new PS version but without that shortcut, I just can't. Any ideas anyone? Help!

Best regards

Gonna answer this myself 😉 - installed it on another mac and it works. I will have to find out why it is not working on my current machine. So please close/delete this post - thanks!

To lock transparent pixels, so that you can only paint in pixels that are opaque, press the / (forward slash) key or click on the first icon next to the word "Lock:" in the Layers
