"Slice from guides" tool is not working

I have to slice images in Photoshop but the option is not working.
After aligning the images when I opened the slice tool, I found that the Slices From Guides tool is not getting enabled (unclickable) and this is the thing that I needed to work with as I need to slice the images from the guides.
I am using Photoshop CS6. Please help
