Sliders and color picking are unresponsive and buggy

I am on Windows using photoshop version 25.3.1

I recently switched to Photoshop 2024 hoping it would be less buggy but all sliders on the program are unresponsive or buggy. If i try to use a slider to adjust pen size, color, hue, brightness, opacity, flow, or smoothing (or anything at all that requires a slider), it bugs out and either doesnt work at all or i have to over correct my currsor then go backwards. It is the same for when I use my cursor to select colors directly on the color wheel. I have tried shutting down the program, and uninstaling and reinstaling the program but no dice.

As a side note or other problem: when I use the hand tool to move around the canvas, then while it is moving I try to use the zoom tool too quickly it stops photoshop completely and I have to close the program. It does not give me a prompt but I can not edit, draw, or click anywhere in photoshop when that happens, and it does not fix itself, i have to shut down photoshop, sometimes only closing the canvas works.
