Smart Objects won't open in new tab

Usually when you double click a smart object, it will directly take you to a new tab which will make it editable. But for some reasons my photoshop stop doing that. When i double click a smart object it shows me this window instead of opening a new tab. Does anyone know how to fix?

Correct answer Kevin Stohlmeyer

That is a linked Adobe Stock image that is opening in the Camera Raw window.

It's most likely because it has an XMP sidecar or other data that is being read as RAW.

How did you place this in your PSD?

I placed it by drag and dropping. Is RAW image not editable by smart object?

A RAW Smart Object is a Smart Object, just like a Vector Smart Object is a Smart Object even though one cannot edit it directly in Photoshop.

Please post a screenshot of the image you placed in Bridge.
