Some assets become lossy but not others when exporting at 2x

I have an image with 2 illustrations and a logo in it at 354x220px. They are all smart objects.  I want to export the file at 2x, but when I do so, only the logo becomes extremely low-res and blurry. I exported the logo at 600DPI from illustrator so I don't understand why only this part of the image suffers (the illustrations are fine...)

Can anyone explain this to me? I can't provide the file for security reasons.

> How exactly are you exporting?

Using "Export As" so I can use the 2x file size export option.

>  Why did you export the logo from Illustrator instead of placing the ai-file?

I didn't know you could place ai files in Photoshop.

I figured it out by myself.

I solved the issue by adding the logo to a library in Illustrator, and then adding the logo and other assets from this shared library in Photoshop. I didn't know that Photoshop and Illustrator could communicate like that.

The library feature is buggy though and often the window in the software is totally blank. The only way I can solve this is by restarting all CC software.

This still doesn't really explain why the illustrations, which I did not link in this way and don't even have the separate files for anywhere, were not affected when exported at 2x. Oh well.

How exactly are you exporting?

Could you please post screenshots taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Or better yet the layered image itself.

Why did you export the logo from Illustrator instead of placing the ai-file?

Again:

What were the resolutions of the containing document and the Smart Objects?

What were the Smart Objects’s scale factors?
