Something for the Weekend - Part 251 - Lemons and Limes!

Hi,
Thanks to all who submitted images in our previous album cover challenge. There were some great ideas and great covers.

This week we start with 4 simple fruit. You can use one or all of them in creating a new image. The only limit is your imagination, how far can you take it?

The “rules”:

  • Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.
  • Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc.
  • Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”.
  • The challenge is not limited to Photoshop. Any Adobe software can be used.
  • There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a bit of humor and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
  • The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.

To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.

Have fun!

Dave

Gen Fill for the shop front and (I think) Nano Banana (NB) to change the name above to Sunderland.  That is a cool feature.  Make a very loose selection and a simple prompt like 'Change the text to Sunderland'. It makes the change an retains the style perfectly. Note that I did not use all caps in the prompt, but NB used caps anyway, because the original text was all caps.

The most interesting thing about extending the traffic light was the perspective.  I did that using Lazy Nezumi Pro's Vanishing Lines preset to create guide lines, but you can see I did not get it perfect. 😞   If you use LNP mainly for line smoothing, you should absolutely check out its other presets.

I like the shop, Trevor, but that is my kind of traffic light - all green! 🙂

Thanks for including some of the steps you used, it is always good to see how people approach a challenge.

Nice one Kevin.  I wonder how many of us developed a thirst for something alcoholic after seeing your image.  My wife loves a margarita, but I hate anything with gin in it.   I do love a Piña colada, always with a Del Boy umbrella and slice of pineapple. 😉  Blimey!  That looks disgusting!

There isn't any gin in a margarita, Trevor. It's tequila!
